ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) is a group of systemic autoimmune diseases affecting small blood-vessels. Class-II human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genes are often reported as major genetic determinants. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the susceptibility conferred by HLA genes to AAV and five of its clinical subtypes [PR3+AAV, MPO+AAV, granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA)].

来源: BMC Rheumatol. 2025年9卷1期51页
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic disease primarily affecting older adults, mainly impacting the hip and knee joints. The increasing prevalence of OA contributes to rising healthcare demands and costs. Current OA treatment guidelines emphasize the importance of self-management education and guidance, particularly in promoting physical activity and weight management. In addition, improving sleep is crucial for managing OA. Developing effective self-management interventions necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the factors that facilitate these behaviors. Especially for changing health behaviors, it is important to focus on psychosocial factors. Therefore, this systematic review aimed to identify the psychosocial factors associated with physical activity, weight management, and sleep in adults with hip and/or knee OA.

Emerging evidence suggests that post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) may increase susceptibility to autoimmune diseases, including SLE. PTSD-related immune dysregulation is hypothesized to heighten vulnerability to autoimmunity. This systematic review sought to evaluate the relationship between PTSD and the risk of developing SLE, as well as explore potential shared genetic predispositions.
45. Prevalence and factors associated with fatigue in patients with psoriatic arthritis: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

IBM is characterized by slowly progressive muscle weakness making it challenging to detect significant changes in weakness during a clinical trial. Trial participants receiving placebo may behave differently from in natural history studies. We aimed to quantify the change in muscle strength and IBM Functional Rating Scale (IBMFRS) of IBM patients receiving placebo during clinical trials.
