1. [The Effectiveness of Cryotherapy to Manage Taxane-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy in Patients With Breast Cancer: A Systematic Review].

Chia-Ching Ho.;Shiow-Ching Shun.;Chiu-Hui Chen.;Li-Lu Chang.
Taxanes are essential chemotherapy agents for breast cancer treatment. However, patients frequently experience chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) during their course of treatment. Cryotherapy is a non-pharmacological approach that has been explored for its potential effects on preventing or improving CIPN. However, although several studies have reported on the effects of cryotherapy, no comprehensive review has been conducted to confirm its benefits.

2. [The Effect of Exercise Interventions on Alleviating Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy: A Systematic Review].

Shu-Chen Chen.;Sui-Whi Jane.;Yung-Chang Lin.;Hsiang-Ping Huang.
85%-95% of patients with cancer experience chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), which may lead to neuropathic pain, emotional distress, functional difficulties, and interpersonal problems. Although exercise interventions have been proposed for improving and preventing CIPN, evidence regarding the efficacy of these interventions has been inconsistent and of inadequate quality. In addition, few domestic systematic reviews have examined the effects of exercise on CIPN.

3. [Systematic review and Meta-analysis on chemotherapy-induced bone marrow suppression treated with acupuncture].

Rui Huang.;Tong Li.;Mei-Xia Li.;Si-Ting Ye.;Na Nie.;Yi Liang.
To review systematically the effectiveness of acupuncture in treatment of chemotherapy-induced bone marrow suppression.

4. [Immune-related Adverse Events Induced by ICIs in Advanced NSCLC:
A Meta-analysis and Systematic Review].

Qiaoxi Qin.;Jiajin Wang.;Hong Wang.
In recent years, immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have become a hot spot in cancer because of their remarkable survival benefits on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. However, the immune-related adverse events (ir-AEs) induced by ICIs have been frequently reported due to its specificity and severity. This article is to summarize and evaluate ir-AEs induced by ICIs. Hopefully it can provide guidance for advanced NSCLC patients treatment options, early recognition and management of ir-AEs.

5. [The Effectiveness of Cooling Packaging Care in Relieving Chemotherapy-Induced Skin Toxicity Reactions in Cancer Patients Receiving Chemotherapy: A Systematic Review].

Ya-Hui Hsu.;Hsing-Wei Hung.;Shu-Ching Chen.
Anti-cancer chemotherapy may cause skin-toxicity reactions. Different types of cooling packages affect chemotherapy-induced skin toxicity reactions differently.

6. [Efficacy and safety of rh-endostatin combined with chemotherapy versus chemotherapy alone for advanced NSCLC: a meta-analysis review].

Dedong Cao.;Wei Ge.;Huimin Wang.;Ling Zhang.;Yongfa Zheng.;Jinzhong Zhang.
In recent years, there has been a large number of studies and reports about the efficacy and safety of recombinant human endostatin (rh-endostatin), an anti-angiogenic drug, in treatment of advanced lung cancer. Authentic assessment of rh-endostatin treatment in lung cancer is important. The aim of this study is to assess the clinical efficacy and safety of rh-endostatin combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

7. [Efficacy and safety in treatment of ocular neovascularization by Bevacizumab versus Ranibizumab: a meta-analysis].

Nan Ma.;Xiang-Ge He.
To evaluate the efficacy and safety in treatment of ocular neovascularization by Bevacizumab versus Ranibizumab.

8. [Advances in the study of berberine and its derivatives].

Bo Li.;Wei-Liang Zhu.;Kai-Xian Chen.
Berberine is a isoquinoline alkaloid extracted from Chinese herbs such as Coptidis rhizome. In the past decade, there are more than 2 000 published papers studying the clinical application, pharmacodynamic mechanism and structure-activity relationship (SAR) of berberine and its derivatives, for treating tumor, diabetes, cardiavascellum disease, hyperlipemia, inflammation, bacterium and virus infection, cerebral ischemia trauma, mental disease, Alzheimer disease, osteoporosis, and so on. These results demonstrate that berberine has wide physiologic function and has great potential for structural modification as new drug lead. However, there is no systematic review about the study of berberine and its derivatives up to now. This paper is a systematic review of the research advances of berberine and its derevatives in clinical application, pharmacodynamic mechanisms, molecular pharmacology, absorption and metabolism, and SAR studies. The current review would provide some useful information for further study on structural modification of berberine for discovering new drug leads based on its pharmacodynamic mechanisms.
